PROJECT TIMELINE
Wk 2: Discussion of the project proposal, researching relevant artists and potential ways to implement some features
Wk 3: Drafting the project timeline, start building the scene in Unity and have it running in the latest Oculus versions, explore options to use Oculus in Unity without using OVR avatar.
Wk 4: have the project running in Oculus Quest
Wk 5: Midterm - Proof of concept: Demo the completely black scene with interactions such as move, turn, haptic feedback from controller. Have the demo run on Oculus Quest and playable in class from the stand alone mode or from a lab computer.
Wks 7-9: Concept revision based on the feedback. Implement a feedback when the player avatar collides with an object, optimize the player movement control in general, and add footstep and sound echo if possible.
Wk 10: Final 160A: Have new features added in week 7-9 running in Oculus Quest. Revise the second half of timeline

Wk 11: Begin modeling buildings, walls and obstacles to populate the scene.
Wk 12-14: Publish the demo online, continue with modeling .
Wk 15 Midterm crit: Have the completed scene ready for demo, .
Wk 16-Wk 17:Final debugging. Adjust the scene’s difficulty and time to complete based on feedback from user testing.
Wk 17-18: Finish up the scene/debugging if not already complete. Start looking at the space needed for installation, safety measures, and ways to record the project.
Wk 19: Final 160B: Present Finished Piece in Crit.
Wk 20: Gallery install and exhibition.
